On October 14-15, Glasgow College Hainan was assessed by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) for professional accreditation. This accreditation extends the recognition of our college and the University of Glasgow's Chinese-foreign cooperative education program. It specifically focuses on ensuring that our programs in Hainan and Chengdu maintain consistent standards in teaching and quality assurance for Chinese-foreign cooperative education.
The IET expert group conducted a thorough review of Glasgow College Hainan's teaching facilities and support systems. During the accreditation process, experts had discussions with the college's teaching staff, representatives from the Hainan Lingshui Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, and student representatives. They also inspected the college's teaching and experimental venues, as well as shared facilities like the library within the Pilot Zone, while learning about the progress of the construction of the college's dedicated building. Following their preliminary evaluation, the experts highly praised the quality of teaching and the support systems at Glasgow College Hainan
