Mission

The mission of the Glasgow College Hainan, UESTC is to deliver undergraduate degree programmes in China at a standard commensurate with the highest quality education available internationally, providing students with the scholarship and skills that will equip them for lifetime careers as leaders in industry and academia.

Inspired by the world-class educational philosophy of the University of Glasgow, Glasgow College at UESTC adopts the syllabus, curriculum design, and methodological approaches of the University of Glasgow. By leveraging the high-quality educational resources from both institutions, our College offers inspiration-driven and research-led teaching to all participants. The College aims to explore and create new pathways for nurturing top engineering talents, enhancing students' creative thinking abilities, and cultivating excellence with a focus on global vision, international competitiveness, and social responsibility. All academic activities will be supervised under the higher education quality control systems of both China and the United Kingdom, and students will be awarded degrees from both universities upon meeting graduation requirements.
