He has been engaged in signal processing research and teaching in the field of communication, radar and navigation for a long time. Cultivated more than 60 full-time master's degree graduates, presided over and participated in more than ten scientific research projects, such as the National 863 High-Tech Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the General Armament Department's pre-study research. He has obtained 9 national invention patents, 1 third prize of ministerial-level scientific and technological progress, 1 second prize of national teaching achievements, 3 first prize of Sichuan teaching achievements, published more than 50 academic papers, and participated in the preparation of 2 textbooks.
He was also the expert of undergraduate teaching audit and assessment of the Ministry of Education, and the director of Sichuan Province Electronic Information Teaching Steering Committee.
