On November 27， the “Join Hands with Glasgow College Hainan” International Recruitment Briefing for Master’s and Doctoral Programs, hosted by the Glasgow College, Hainan, was held at the CUC Lecture Hall in the Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone. Admissions officers from more than ten world-renowned universities from the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and other countries gathered in the Pilot Zone to provide students with comprehensive explanations of postgraduate program policies, along with one-on-one consultations and application guidance.
The briefing was open to all university students in the Pilot Zone. Admissions representatives from top international universities—including Northeastern University, New York University Tandon School of Engineering, NYU Shanghai, University of Rochester, Bocconi University (Italy), Worcester Polytechnic Institute, University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Saint Louis University, and Duke Kunshan University—were all in attendance. They offered detailed interpretations and experience-sharing on key topics such as postgraduate program structures, application procedures, scholarship policies, internship and employment support, and alumni development resources.
After the presentations, students joined the admissions officers in the one-on-one consultation area for in-depth discussions. Senior students brought their resumes, transcripts, and other application materials to receive personalized advice on academic background, program selection, and application strategy through face-to-face communication. Junior students engaged in interactive Q&A sessions to gain an initial understanding of the application process and admission requirements, laying a solid foundation for future academic planning. The event also featured a dedicated interview area, where universities such as Duke Kunshan offered on-site interviews and pre-admission fast-track opportunities for third- and fourth-year students from UESTC, helping outstanding students advance efficiently.
This face-to-face engagement event with admissions officers from internationally renowned universities represents an important initiative by Glasgow College Hainan to deepen internationalized education and expand access to high-quality educational resources. Moving forward, the College will continue to introduce premium global education resources, build multi-level and diverse platforms for international academic exchange, and provide precise support and guidance for studying abroad, contributing to the cultivation of high-caliber, interdisciplinary talents with global vision and strong competitiveness.
