a)Lecture Session

•Introductory Programming:

Requirements:

All position requires relevant educational background as well as English communication skills. Detailed requirements are as below:

•Introductory Programming:

Several GTAs must conduct lab sessions and assist students in C programming. GTAs will also have to mark the lab reports and weekly programming assignments and provide written feedback to the students. The GTA candidate must have good knowledge of programming skills especially in C. Experience in debugging and troubleshooting is a plus. The candidate must have:

1.Experience with working in C programming language (e.g., some term project or internship)

2.Willingness to go above and beyond in helping first year students

3.Understanding of number systems for data representation.

4.Good written English skills to communicate with students.

In addition, the GTAs are also preferred to have:

1. Experience of using the UofG learning platform Moodle

2. Eagerness to learn Autograding tools for assessment of programming exercises.

3. An ability to link the programming exercises with the concepts introduced in the lectures.

•Circuits Analysis and Design:

The candidate must have good knowledge of circuit analysis (Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws, DC and AC circuit analysis and calculation of bias points, impedances and simple circuits such as filters and operational amplifiers) as well as experience with use of practical laboratory equipment (breadboard circuits, oscilloscopes and waveform generators) and circuit simulation software such as PSpice or similar.
